little girl in Texas is laughing off a recent attack by one of nature’s most ferocious beasts — a goose.Five-year-old Summer Gidden was chasing geese with her friends when the flock decided to chase back, swooping into her hair and knocking her to the ground.Summer’s sister Stevie shared the photos on Twitter, showing off the sheer horror on Summer’s face. The pictures immediately took the web by storm.But being the good big sister that she is, Stevie tweeted to clarify that a neighbor did run in to rescue Summer right away.”Five minutes after it happened, she was fine. She has a few scratches, but that’s all,” Gidden told KPRC in Houston.Summer, who lives in Spring, near Houston, also wanted to make sure the world knows that she escaped unscathed and she’s laughing off the incident.”It’s so funny!” Summer said in an interview with Houston affiliate KHOU.Turns out Summer’s sister is anything but surprised her sister found her way into the spotlight.”She’s famous,” Stevie said. “I knew she would be one day.”
